Just a short note to let you all know the reason it´s been so quiet here is that I´ve been slightly out of range of internet access - on the Inca Trail, to be precise :P
I´ve been keeping notes, so I should have a stack of new posts up fairly soon. We are heading off to the Amazon tomorrow morning though, so unless the rainforest comes equipped with a broadband connection they may still be a few days away.
